Well done to the Inter Footballers who had an excellent extra-time win against a very good Scoil Uí Chonaill team. Well done also to the second team who had a good win against St. Peregrines. Hard luck to the third team who lost out to Fingal Ravens. Hard luck also to the Féile Hurling team, who played brilliantly all weekend but unfortunately lost out to St. Oliver Plunkett’s in the Div. 2 Final by a point with the last puck of the game. All of the players did the club extremely proud regardless of the result. The nursery is up and running, on every Saturday morning at 10am in Tír Na nÓg at CCC for 4-7 year olds. A big well done to all our U14 girls who did themselves and the club very proud in reaching the semi-finals of the Div2 football féile this weekend. Two good wins over neighbours St. Brigid’s and hosts St. Maurs saw our girls qualify out of their group with Clontarf and into the semi-final against Ballinteer St. Johns. A tough encounter in the semi-final saw us exit the competition with heads held high. Well done to the girls and their mentors on a great weekend of football.
In a week of several mid-week camogie juvenile league matches, our girls were successful at U16, U15 and U14 against Thomas Davis, Naomh Jude and Raheny respectively. Our U16 ladies football team also had a deserved win against Lucan on Sunday.
The club would like to thank everyone who supported the Annual Quiz last Friday, and of course to everyone who helped in organising the event.
Good luck to Brendan and all of the coaches in running the Easter Camp this week, and hopefully all players will enjoy themselves, and the weather will hold up!
Well done to all those who took part in the Great Ireland Run as a fundraiser for the club, and to Mary Connellan for organising the event. Special mention must go to Louis Woodger who won the Junior Race.
