2024 Mini Leagues - an incredible success

It’s that time again when we’ve finished our Mini Leagues and just want to mention a few people who continue to make the Castleknock Mini Leagues an incredible success.
We had over 650 players from under 6 to under 14 playing. They were a joy to watch in some very close games.
There are so many people to thank, it is impossible to do so individually, but we feel that we have to mention a few.
Our grounds committee and especially Mick Lynch for having the pitches in such great condition.
Our amazing Under 15 and 16’s who gave up their time to manage and referee the under 5’s and 6’s.
Each mentor, parent and volunteer who rushed home from work in order to work the shop, BBQ’s, to manage a team, and to tidy up. Creating a superb atmosphere in Somerton. Especially Elaine and Stephanie for taking the lead on the shop and BBQ.
Our team of volunteers led by Sarah for the distribution of the amazing goody bags.
Our brilliant referee’s who were very fair and gave clear instructions to the players. They were amazing.
Our superb team of First Aiders – Denis, Danielle, Jamie and Marion who dealt with any injuries that occurred.
Our sponsors, O’Neill and Brennan who sponsored the wonderful T- shirts again this year.
Seamus Harrington Construction Limited who sponsored the training shorts.
Mixtape marketing for the Gazebos and transport. Tony Lannigan for the amazing P.A system, the smiles on the kids faces, when they run onto the Senior Pitch to the Sunday game music was incredible to watch.

Aaron and Deacon McGoldrick for the Candy Floss, which the kids devoured again this year
Finally, you the parents for bringing your son/daughter to the mini leagues at Castleknock GAA and positively suporting the kids from the sidelines.
