It is with great sadness that we advise the passing of Kevin Mallon, RIP,  a long serving and esteemed club member.  Kevin was “the voice” of the club, officiating at many special occasions, open days and award presentations, to name a few. 

His match reports were always a treat, capturing the essential details of the game in the most poetic language. Kevin also realised the importance of ensuring the story of the club, from it’s first days in “Tir na nÓg” (the name he gave to our Nursery beside CCC) to the development of Somerton, was chronicled, culminating in his book on the first 20 years of the club, from 1998 to 2018.

The Club Executive and the entire membership of the club,  extend sincere condolences to his wife Patricia, son Kilian, daughter Megan and all the extended Mallon family at this sad time.
