Castleknock Hurling and Football Club regret to advise of the passing of Mary Buckley RIP, mother of Terry (2008 Girls mentor), mother in law of Tara and grandmother of Ruby, Rian and Maddie, all either players or past players with Castleknock.

The death has occurred of Mary Buckley (née Daly)
Kinsale, Cork / Ballinspittle, Cork.
Buckley (Old Head, Kinsale) on March 30th, 2023 peacefully at Cork University Hospital and surrounded by her loving family. Mary (nee Daly), beloved wife of Dan and dear mother of Josephine (Lange), Catherine (McCarthy), Terence, Marie (Russell), Claire, Seamus, Annette, Irene and Linda and mother-in-law of the late Peter.
Sadly missed by her loving husband, family, daughters-in-law Tara and Niamh, sons-in-law Barry, Jack, Holger and partners Patrick, Albert and Nicol, her 10 grandchildren Stan, Caoimhe, Tomás, Rián, Rory, Jason, Maddie, Ruby, Charlie and Lucy, sister Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Mary will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, Kinsale on Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Prayers will be at 6.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday at 2pm in Holy Trinity Church, Ballinspittle, funeral afterwards to Templetrine Cemetery.
