Castleknock Hurling & Football Club regret to advise the passing of Mona (Monica) Wylie, RIP, mother to Michael and Seán Wylie, long term club members, grandmother to Robert, and Ciara on Michael’s side and Sinead, Áine and Emma on Sean’s side who have all played for the club.
 
Castleknock Hurling & Football Club Executive and all the membership wish to extend sincere condolences to Michael, his wife Marie and Seán, his wife Mary and all the Wylie families at this sad time.

The death has occurred of Mona (Monica) Wylie (née Higgins) Oxmantown Road, Stoneybatter, Dublin

Mona (Monica) Wylie (née Higgins) Oxmantown Road, Dublin 7 on 3rd June 2023 after a brief illness in the loving care of St Francis Hospice Blanchardstown. Predeceased by her husband Michael. Sadly missed by her children Michael, Gerard, Kenneth and Sean, daughters-in-law Marie, Jane, Maria and Mary, grandchildren Robert, Ciara, Conor, Daniel, John, Joseph, Kevin, Niamh, Sinead, Aine and Emma, nieces, nephews, god children, friends and her good neighbours in Stoneybatter.

Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 from 5pm to 7pm Friday evening. Mona’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning, 10th June, at 11am in the Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
