Bereavement Notice - Phil Ward

Castleknock Hurling & Football Club regret to advise the passing of of Phil Ward, RIP, late of Clonakilty, Co. Cork. Phil is our Club PRO and Juvenile Secretary Darren Martin’s mother-in-law. 
 
Castleknock Hurling & Football Club Executive and all the membership wish to extend sincere condolences to Darren, his wife Maeve and their children Chloe, Alex and Sarah, who are all involved with the club.

WARD (Willow Park, Clonakilty): On July 18th 2023 peacefully surrounded by her family at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. PHIL (nee Hegarty) beloved wife of the late Henry, dear mother of the late Alice (Crowley). Sadly missed by her loving children Antoinette (Boyd), Mark, Maeve (Martin), Carolann (Timmins), Aisling, Mary and Henry, sisters Margaret (Hegarty), Anna (Duggan), Mary (Clerkin) and Kay (Maguire), sons-in-law Justin, Martin, Darren, Nathan, Barry (McAdams) and David (Burns), daughters-in-law Sinéad and Aishling, 28 grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Wednesday, July 19th 2023 from 4.30pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty, on Thursday, July 20th at 12 noon. This will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.

Phil’s Funeral Cortege will leave the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty, on Thursday after 12 noon Requiem Mass pausing at Willow Park on route to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
