Castleknock Hurling & Football Club regret to advise the passing of Rory O’Farrell, brother of Mike O’Farrell, mentor with the U15 (2009) Girls and father of Club Members Aoibhinn, Cormac and Catriona.

Castleknock Club Executive and the entire membership of the Club, wish to extend sincere condolences to Mike and the O’Farrell family at this sad time.

The death has occurred of Rory O’Farrell, Stoneyhigh, Gortlandroe Nenagh & formerly of Cooladerry Ballyporeen.

Peacefully surrounded by his family in the care of the staff at Milford Hospice Limerick on Oct 22nd 2024.

Predeceased by his beloved father Michael.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Karen & cherished sons Senan, Riàn, Kevin & Michael, His Mother Catherine (Birdie), Sisters Ann-Marie (David), Carmel (Richard), brothers Pat, Conor (Sinèad) & Mike (Caroline). Mother in law Kathleen, father in law Kevin, Sister in law Kim (Darragh). Aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, his colleagues at P.T.S.B & his many friends.

May Rory Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his home in Stoneyhigh, Nenagh (E45 V129) this Thursday from 4 o’c to 7 o’c. His remains will arrive at St.Mary’s of the Rosary Church, Nenagh on Friday for Requiem Mass at 11 o’c.
