Car Wash - in aid of Creeslough Fund

What a super success the Carwash in aid of The Creeslough Fund in Somerton Park today.

A very, very big thank you to our main sponsors:

Without you we could not have had such a successful day.

A massive thank you to all who helped out in every way, in particular to the hundreds of Castleknock Hurling and Football Club Members and Supporters who supported this great cause.

Everyone is looking forward to a our very special family day next Saturday 28th January when we welcome our fellow Gaels from Naomh Micheál, Creeslough/Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal to Somerton Park – a day not to be missed.

On the 7th of October last, a massive explosion occurred in Creeslough, Co. Donegal, killing 10 people. Many others suffered serious injuries, some life changing, others suffered trauma and are still trying to deal with the aftermath today.

The Under 14 Boys have invited Naomh Mícheal U14 Boys (Creeslough/Dunfanaghy)to a challenge match on the 28th of January. There are 100 people travelling from Creeslough to include, players, mentors and their families for a day and night of sport and fun.

It would be nice to send them back to Creeslough with a donation to The Creeslough Fund. With that in mind we have arranged a charity car wash to take place in Somerton on Saturday the 21st of January with a view to raising funds for this very worthy cause.

So bring your cars, vans and jeeps, we will wash anything!
