Castleknock GAA walk for Ukraine

On behalf of myself and Cian we would like to thank everyone who came out today to our walk and made a donation, we managed to surpass our expectations which we were delighted with. We would also like to thank our mentor Barbara Oneill because with out her none of this would have been possible.
We would like to thank the Club for letting us host our walk in Somerton and letting us use the clubhouse. In addition we would like to thank Castleknock hotel, Insomnia, Spar, Centra and last but not least Get Fresh for there very generous donations.

‘Castleknock GAA Walk for Ukraine’

Perimeter walk around Somerton organised by two of our @nuigalway Dermot Early Youth Leadership Initiative students.
Distance 1.5km approx or 3011 steps representing 3011kms from Dublin to Kiev.

Light refreshments in the club house afterwards. Donations on the day will be used towards the clubs ongoing projects to assist migrants and displaced persons in the local area.
