Saturday, August 29th, 2020 marked the end of an era for the Club but especially for Kevin Hogan, Mags Heelan and Ger O’Reilly, the team that for the last 22 years has operated our hugely successful Club Shop. The ‘Shop’ began with the trio selling Club gear out of bags at Tir na nÓg followed by three mobile manifestations of the shop, one stolen, one collapsed and the current version which operates from CCC every Saturday morning.

The logistics of running the shop are truly staggering and the amount of work they have done in terms of finance, stock taking, ordering and providing expert guidance for parents every week deserves the heartfelt thanks of every Club member.

Kevin, Mags and Ger will be a very hard act to follow. We thank the three of you for all your efforts and everything you have done for the Club since it was founded and wish you all the best in the future.
