Féile 2022 Fundraiser
The GAA Féile na nÓg competition is a festival of football, hurling and camogie for Under 15 boys & girls involving teams from across the country. It is a unique competition that allows players to play teams that they would not usually be playing against at a county and (if successful) national level. It is the only competition that the GAA runs at a national level for underage players. The competition runs from the end of February till the end of April.
The Castleknock u15 Boys and Girls teams will be taking part in Feile 2022 … a total of over 100 players. To acknowledge this special competition, a group of parents from the Castleknock u15 Boys and Girls teams are fundraising to buy a special commemorative kit for all the children. The kit will include training tops, t-shirts & shorts/tracksuit, with each item featuring the Feile 2022 badge and the player’s initials.
The Feile competition is a highlight in a GAA player’s career and can provide the platform to keep young players involved in playing GAA into their young adult years. It can also provide the inspiration for players to push themselves to become better players and reach their full potential.
To help with the fundraising, we are holding a cake sale in Castleknock Community Centre, Laurel Lodge, on Sunday March 13, between 10 & 1. If you can’t make it to the cake sale, you can still help us by donating here. We would really appreciate your help so we can make this special competition even more special for the players.
Unfortunately, with current Covid restrictions, our fundraising efforts have been curtailed greatly. We are now asking our supporters, family & friends to support our fundraising efforts. All contributions are much appreciated and we thank you for your support.
