Week 1 of Castleknock Cúl Camps 2023 a super success

7/7/2023

As the sun sets on Week 1 of Cúl Camps 2023 in Castleknock,I feel like we achieved something more than we could have envisaged at the start of the week.

Firstly, I want to thank each and every one of the 300 children we hosted this week. Their behaviour, enthusiasm & willingness to learn is a credit to you all as parents/guardians. I have so many fun memories from the week, and a lot of new mini friends! I couldn’t have wished for a better start to my new role.

I hope the changes that we implemented were of benefit to you all; the new drop off & collection system worked well for our plans for the week, I feel like the children benefitted greatly from this, and that was my main aim, but also, I felt like it may make your mornings & afternoons a little easier, and I hope we succeeded in doing so.

What can I say about our wonderful coaches and helpers? They were awesome!!! I would like to take this opportunity in expressing my gratitude to them for how they performed & represented themselves and the club in the most professional manner throughout the week. I’m sure you have heard plenty of names from your kids of their favourite coach this week, but I am truly proud of and grateful to all of them. Thank you coaches for making my first camp at Castleknock a great one.

I hope the children made lots of new friends, learnt lots of new skills/tricks & most importantly, made memories that will stay with them for a long time.

I apologise in advance if I have caused you a summer of listening/singing & dancing to “YMCA, Macarena & Freed from Desire(our newfound camp anthem!”.

Thank you all for your support & kind words over the course of the week, and I look forward to seeing plenty more of you.

Regards,
